66. Max McCaffrey

Of the UDFA players who are on the Raiders training camp roster, Max McCaffrey comes with the most interest. The son of Ed McCaffrey and the brother of Christian McCaffrey’s name alone raising eyebrows as a player who could have potential due to his bloodline.

McCaffrey had a solid career at Duke, catching 12 touchdowns and amassing over 1000 yards during his time with the Blue Devils. Becoming a fixture in Duke’s high-octane passing offense over his final two collegiate seasons.

While McCaffrey has talent and strong college production, he will have a tough time fighting for the last wideout spot on the Raiders roster. A role that is currently held by Seth Roberts, who is a favorite target of Derek Carr in the red zone and had a breakout year in 2015 for the Raiders. Expect McCaffrey to stick around with the Raiders, but in a practice squad role as it will be hard for any new face to crack the roster at wideout going into camp.
