43. D.J. Hayden
Much of the fanbase is ready to stick a fork in Hayden, or they’ve probably already done so. But he’s a free agent at the end of the year and releasing him wouldn’t have been financially beneficial, so the team is gonna see this one through to the end.
Hayden is talented. It wasn’t just the Raiders who were high on him in the 2013 NFL Draft, so there is something here. It’s just a matter of getting him to reach that potential.
So maybe he should be ranked lower, but many of the players ranked below haven’t proven much either. Let’s hope Norton Jr. and his experience in Seattle can help Hayden develop.
