
39. DeAndre Washington
Washington was a bit of a surprise pick in the fifth-round, since several more recognizable runnings backs were still on the board. But the pick made complete sense. Physically, Washington is a near-clone to noted Del Rio favorite, Maurice Jones-Drew which has many speculating that the rookie will get a look right away as a change of pace back behind Latavius Murray.
Washington is a speedy yet strong do-it-all back, and is going to have to step up sooner than later, to serve as a complementary back to Latavius Murray. He might even get in on the mix as a kick returner or punt returner.
