28. Justin Ellis

A big bodied defensive tackle, Justin Ellis has been making an impact for the Raiders for the past two seasons since general manager Reggie McKenzie selected Ellis in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Giving the Raiders a mid-round steal as Ellis has been a productive player from Day One for the Silver and Black.

A space eater with surprising agility, Ellis has been able to make an impact as a starter in his first two seasons with the team. Playing in 28 out of 32 games and earning 23 starts since coming into the league in 2014. Showing the faith the Raiders coaching staff has in the defensive tackle.

Entering Year 3, expect a similar role for Ellis as he is a big part of the Raiders defensive line alongside Dan Williams. With the Oakland defensive front expected to be one of the best in the league in 2016, Ellis’ ability to make plays in the interior will be an important factor for the Raiders defense to live up to the hype.
