27. Jamize Olawale
Olawale made his way to Oakland via the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad, after being undrafted in 2012. Injuries at the running back position led to the Raiders making the move.
He earned himself a roster spot largely thanks to his performance on special teams, where he has been one of the best special teams players ever since he signed with Oakland.
Olawale emerged on offense in 2015, looking like a young Marcel Reece on the field. His playing time was limited, but he impressed just about every time he touched the ball. The team recognized what they had and wasted no time signing Olawale to a three-year extension.
With Reece at age 31 and coming off a suspension, Olawale is a serious threat to take over the starting fullback position sooner than later.
