25. Austin Howard

Howard might be the most divisive player on the Raiders roster.

There is a group of fans that really like him, that laud his PFF grade (15th amongst all tackles) and believe the bad rap he gets is unfair. And then there is a group of fans that hate him, that think PFF’s grading system is broken, and believe Howard and his big contract should be shown the door.

As usual, the answer probably lies somewhere in the middle.

Howard is obviously not an all-pro, but he’s been far from a disaster, at least at right tackle. He’s been healthy and reliable, where as Menelik Watson has not. You could do a lot worse than Austin Howard as your starting right tackle.
