Establish the running game

At one point, offensive line coach Mike Tice called this interior offensive line the best he had ever seen. It is time to show it, by running the ball early and often.

Expect Latavius Muray to run the ball early and often. Let’s see what this hyped offensive line can do on the first drive.

After that, the run game should not lose a step. Backups Matt McCants, Jon Feliciano, and Austin Howard all bring key experience. Therefore, Oakland should run the ball early and often.

This will also help them determine Murray’s primary backup. Right now, Taiwan Jones leads the race. That could change as DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard continue making camps. Also, you can not forget about George Atkinson III who usually balls in preseason.
