The QB’s: Derek Carr, Matt McGloin, Connor Cook.

That’s it. Those three are the only quarterbacks that were invited to training camp.

Unlike recents seasons where the Raiders have seen players such as Garrett Gilbert, Christian Ponder and Cody Fajardo compete for a roster spot, the team is obviously happy with the group that is in place, and will instead fill up the 90-man roster at other positions.

The real story here is who wins the backup job. Prior to the start of the preseason, McGloin was considered the favorite, with Cook still having a chance to win the job.

Through three games, McGloin certainly has the edge. He has played better and is getting the majority of the second-team reps.

Who makes the team: All three quarterbacks — Carr, McGloin, Cook — make the 53-man roster.
