Round 5 – Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo

Oakland excelled behind its three-headed backfield in 2016, which consists of backs Latavius Murray, DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard. Compiling 1,922 yards on the ground — sixth best in the NFL — the Raiders opened up the passing game for Pro Bowl quarterback Derek Carr.

Now, Murray is an unrestricted free agent, and it’ll be up to him to possibly take less to stay. Either way, Oakland can do damage control by drafting a back in a class full of studs.

Toledo running back Kareem Hunt has it all — grit, patience, speed and elusiveness. Hunt possesses solid hands and an ability to shake and create in open field, making him a threat through the air.
