A Year in Review: Khalil Mack

Week 6
In back to back weeks, the Raiders would find themselves playing division opponents, and this time it would be the Kansas City Chiefs. This one was one of the more uglier games of the season.
The Raiders got schooled on both offense and defense, but once again, Mack had a solid game by his account. Mack racked up 7 tackles, a quarterback hit, as well as a single sack for the game.
Week 7
Going on the road, the Raiders would take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. It was the Raiders’ best balanced performance of the season to that point, winning by a score of 33-16.
The Raiders’ defense gave up 344 total yards, and Mack once again found himself in the sack column by accumulating a single sack, to go along with 3 tackles. This was now back to back games in which Mack registered a sack.
Week 8
Staying in Florida, the Raiders would take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although the Raiders defense gave up 24 points, they also only gave up 270 yards, which was a season low to that point.
Mack also had himself another good game in which he had 7 tackles, 2 sacks and also forced his first fumble of the season. It was a season high in terms of sacks for Mack up to this point in the season.
Week 9
After spending the last two weeks on the road, the Raiders would be heading home to take on the defending Super Bowl champion, Denver Broncos. This was one of the bigger games in terms of importance for not only the Raiders, but also the entire fan base.
The Raiders clicked on all three phases of the game, dominating for the majority of the game. Mack had a lasting impression for this game by posting 3 tackles as well as 2 sacks and another forced fumble. If you are keeping track, this is now 6 sacks in four games.
Week 11
Following the bye week, the Raiders would find themselves back on the road, but this time in Mexico City going up against the Houston Texans.
This was yet again another game in which the Raiders would struggle on defense. Despite the struggles, Mack found himself in the sack category yet again, tallying a single sack, as well as 3 tackles and two quarterback hits.
