#2 – Tim Brown

At the second spot, we have Raiders all-time leading receiver Tim Brown. In his 16 years with the Raiders, Brown not only established himself as the most accomplished receiver in franchise history, but also as one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.

As the sixth overall pick out of Notre Dame in the 1988 NFL Draft, Brown had high expectations to live up to. He not only lived up to those expectations, he exceeded them.

During his time with the Raiders, Brown hauled in 1,070 receptions for 14,737 yards and 105 total touchdowns, which still ranks first in franchise history. He was named to the Pro Bowl nine times and was an All-Pro twice. Brown was also named to the 1990’s All-Decade team. Brown’s all-purpose yardage total is 19,683, which ranks fifth all time.

By the time his career finished, he was arguably the second best wide receiver ever and a household name not only for Raiders fans, but for football fans. And for those younger fans who didn’t get a chance to watch him play, they got a glimpse of his greatness by watching his induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015, cementing his legacy has one of the game’s greats.
