Sebastian Janikowski

With the 17th overall pick in the 2000 NFL Draft, Al Davis did the unthinkable, drafting a kicker in the first round. As the Raiders all-time leader score, Seabass was by far the hardest player to leave out of the top five.

Al Davis was a visionary and genius who was ahead of his time, and the Janikowski pick is just one of many examples. He is still kicking to this day, and despite being fat and overweight for the majority of his career, Seabass has been incredibly productive. Al Davis should be commended on his bravery for making the pick, knowing the criticism he would face for it.

If not for the skewed voting system of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Janikowski would be a lock for the first ever 1st ballot Hall of Fame kicker in NFL history. Tip of the cap to the Polish Cannon for giving the Raiders 17 great years and counting.
