Who could be the 2018 version of Kareem Hunt? You know everybody is looking for that breakout rookie star running back. 2015 was Todd Gurley out of Georgia with the then St. Louis Rams. Last year saw Ezekiel Elliott transition marvelously from the Ohio State Buckeyes to the Dallas Cowboys.

A great candidate for that in 2018 would have to be Arizona State Sun Devils running back Kalen Ballage. Just because he plays for one of the least talked about Pac-12 schools doesn’t mean he can’t be a great pro. Ballage is a guy that will turn a ton of heads at the 2018 Senior Bowl in Mobile.

Fifth Round

Oakland may have signed Jared Cook in free agency this offseason, but it’s never a bad idea to see what Notre Dame can offer in the form of tight ends. This is the same school that sent Kyle Rudolph and Tyler Eifert to the pros.

Though he won’t be as good as those two former Golden Domers, Durham Smythe could be a good find for the Raiders in the fifth round. He plays in a pro-style offense for Brian Kelly. His tight ends are usually ready to compete at a high level once turning pro. There’s great value with this pick for sure.
