Weather Forecast

For a mid-afternoon game in Denver, it will have an early autumn sort of feel to it on the first day of October. According to Weather.com, it will be in the high 60s and cloudy during the entire game at Mile High. There will be about a 15 percent chance of precipitation throughout out the contest.

The humidity will be in the low 30 percentile, but we should expect a good bit of wind on this cloudy day in Denver. Winds will be in the low teens throughout the ball game. So how does this impact the game for either side?

With the game being in altitude any way, this could impact special teams play a good bit. Depending on which direction a team is driving down the field, they will have to account for a 11 to 14 mile per hour northwest wind. It could impact punts and field goal attempts from distance.

If the wind is a little more than that, it could impact the passing game to a degree. Neither Derek Carr or Trevor Siemian will want a pass between the hash marks to sail on them, but that could be the case in this high stakes ball game early in the season.
