Injury Report

According to Raiders.com, Oakland had 11 players listed on the injury report throughout the week. Four players came off the injury report on Friday, so that’s exciting. Those four players are quarterback Derek Carr (back), wide receiver Amari Cooper (knee), right guard Gabe Jackson (foot) and tight end Lee Smith (knee).

Carr and Jackson missed Week 5’s loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The offense could have used them, but glad to have them back in Week 6 versus the Chargers. Three Raiders are listed as questionable for this game. Those players are cornerback David Amerson (shoulder), linebacker Cory James (knee) and running back DeAndre Washington (hamstring).

Amerson has been banged up all year with concussions and now a shoulder. His status remains to be seen. James got hurt last week, but the Raiders cannot afford to lose him. Washington didn’t play last week because of that hamstring issue.

Four Raiders will be out for this game. Those players are cornerback Gareon Conley (shin), cornerback Antonio Hamilton (knee), linebacker Marquel Lee (ankle) and fullback Jamize Olawale (concussion). Defensive end Shilique Calhoun has been promoted to the active roster from the practice squad due to Hamilton’s injury.
