Injury Report

With this being a short week, yes, injuries from last week’s game will have a greater effect than they probably should due to the quick turnaround. According to the injury report from Wednesday,  Oakland had eight players listed, four that were deemed questionable and two that are certainly out.

Guard Gabe Jackson (foot) and tight end Lee Smith (knee) were limited participants in practice on Monday and Tuesday, but full participants on Wednesday. They are good to go for this game for the Raiders.

The four Raiders that were questionable were linebacker Cory James (knee), linebacker Marquel Lee (ankle), linebacker Nicholas Morrow (ankle) and fullback Jamize Olawale (concussion). Oakland signed former San Francisco 49ers linebacker NaVorro Bowman this week. Maybe he steps up in a banged up linebacker corps? Olawale has had issues with concussions all season.

Oakland does have to players that will be out for this game. Those guys are cornerback Gareon Conley (shin) and tackle Marshall Newhouse (foot). Conley has struggled with shin splints all season. Newhouse’s absence will be tough to overcome, but look for Vadal Alexander and David Sharpe to get some run on Thursday night.
