28. . Quarterback. Fresno State Bulldogs. Derek Carr. 2. player

Derek Carr was outstanding last week versus the Chiefs. He might have had his best game-winning drive of his career to top Kansas City on Thursday Night Football. However, that was last week and this Bills secondary is playing better ball right now than what we saw out of Kansas City.

While weather might be a factor in this game, it’s perhaps even more important for the Raiders to get another big game out of Carr. This is because the so-so rushing attack in Oakland will be limited due to the Marshawn Lynch one-game suspension.

Carr has been at his best this season when he can lean on the deep ball with vertical routes to Amari Cooper. The problem with that is it might be a downpour on Sunday afternoon in Orchard Park. Carr hasn’t shown just yet this season to be the most accurate passer in the short-to-intermediate game.

In essence, while we loved to see Carr shine last week, that could all change with a dismal passing performance versus Buffalo in the rain. With lackluster weather presumably on the horizon, it is all the more reason that Carr needs to play with great focus and be more precise on his passes Sunday versus the Bills.
