Buffalo is vulnerable at offensive tackle

This game will be all about winning in the trenches. It plays into the Bills’ overall team philosophy. That being said, let’s not forget that the Raiders have one of the best offensive lines in football and an improving front-seven. Oakland isn’t afraid about playing a physical brand of football in the trenches.

While the Bills are strong on the offensive interior with guys like Richie Incognito and Eric Wood, they are a bit vulnerable on the outside at offensive tackle. Dion Dawkins is a promising player, but just a rookie at left tackle. Cordy Glenn‘s status with the team remains in flux, as he might be traded. Jordan Mills is good, but not great at right tackle.

Though the Bills do have a respectable, albeit underrated offensive line, knowing that the Raiders can bring the pressure of the edge with guys like Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin has to be keeping offensive coordinator Rick Dennison up at night.

Irvin has played well in recent weeks. Mack has been spectacular for most of the season. This will also be Mack’s homecoming to Buffalo where he played his college ball for the MAC’s Buffalo Bulls. You know that he’ll be fired up for this one. Keep in mind that the Bills traded up to draft Sammy Watkins over him at No. 4 in the 2014 NFL Draft.
