player. 28. . Wide Receiver. Alabama Crimson Tide. Amari Cooper. 2

Was Amari Cooper‘s Week 7 performance against the Kansas City Chiefs a flash in the pan? He might have had 11 catches for 210 yards and two touchdowns, but that is his only 100-yard receiving game on the season.

Cooper had just five catches for 48 yards in the Raiders’ most recent loss to the Bills. Yes, the weather wasn’t good, but neither has Cooper been this year. Let’s be fair though. The entire Raiders offense has struggled mightily with the switch to Todd Downing as offensive coordinator.

However, it has been have a season where this team could have grown together. The Raiders are running out of excuses for poor coaching and in-game execution by the players. This is a game where Cooper needs to go off. He does have a favorable matchup on Sunday Night Football.

Cooper is a native of South Florida, probably playing in front of many friends and family. He will be going up against a rookie on Cordrea Tankersley previously of the national champion Clemson Tigers. Cooper could have a field day with over 100 yards receiving and a big time touchdown to once again save the Raiders’ season.
