Weather Forecast

According to Weather.com, it should be a nice, albeit humid evening in Miami Gardens forSunday Night Football between the Raiders and the Dolphins. It will be 76 degrees Fahrenheit at around kickoff at 8:30 p.m. ET.

The temperature will only drop to 73 degrees at around midnight Monday morning. It will be partly cloudy throughout the game with 15 to 20 percent chance of rain throughout the contest. However, it will be very humid in this ball game. It should between 84 and 91 percent humidity in the game. Both teams will be dealing with a constant four mile per hour north by northwest wind.

So what do the conditions mean for the Raiders and the Dolphins? Cramping could happen throughout the game, particularly in the second half if neither team is well hydrate. Since it will be very humid, the grass could become slippery and ball security could be an issue throughout the game.

Fortunately, the kicking game shouldn’t be overly impacted by the weather. There might be a bad snap or two if the long snapper or holder don’t get a good grip of the ball. With no rain and little wind, Oakland shouldn’t have much of an issue moving the football on this Dolphins defense on Sunday night.
