Injury Report

According to the Raiders’ injury report from Friday, Oakland will have three defensive backs out for this game. They also have six players listed as questionable. The three secondary players that will be out for the Raiders are David Amerson (foot), Gareon Conley (shin) and Demetrius McCray (knee).

Oakland’s six players that will be questionable for this game are guard Gabe Jackson (ankle), linebacker Cory James (knee), safety Karl Joseph (groin), linebacker Marquel Lee (ankle), linebacker Nicholas Morrow (ankle) and fullback Jamize Olawale (hamstring).

Wide receiver Seth Roberts came off the injury report Friday, as he was dealing with an illness earlier in the week. It should be noted that second-round rookie safety Obi Melifonwu has come off Injured Reserve. He will be expected to make his season debut for the Raiders on Sunday Night Football.

The big key here for the Raiders is that they will be massively depleted in the secondary. If Joseph can’t go, it’ll be even more troubling for the Raiders. Though Miami is not a sound passing team, this could be a rough time for the Raiders if they can’t get a few more healthy bodies out there to play in the secondary on Sunday night.
