It was a perfect time for Marshawn Lynch‘s best game as a Raider

With 17 days off, you better believe Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch had enough recovery time to go Beast Mode for the Silver and Black. This was easily his best game as a Raider, as he rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.

Lynch had not played since Thursday Night Football back in Week 7 versus the Kansas City Chiefs. Remember that he was suspended for Week 8’s game versus the Buffalo Bills because he shoved an official after running on to the field to stick up for his cousin Marcus Peters of Kansas City.

Though Cutler played well for the Dolphins, Lynch was the biggest difference in this game. He was fresh and proved to be the best running back playing in this primetime spot. That being said, Miami did trade its starting running back Jay Ajayi to the Philadelphia Eagles before the deadline. He’s a better player at this stage of his career.

For Lynch, it wasn’t pretty, as he only averaged 4.1 yards per carry. However, he did break off a few solid runs, including that 22-yard scamper to find pay dirt. Oakland needed him to have a big game and Lynch certainly delivered for his hometown team in a big spot.
