Betting Odds

Though this is technically a home game for the Raiders, it will be a neutral-site affair down in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City. Oakland is coming off its annual bye in Week 10, while New England just beat the Denver Broncos on Sunday Night Football a week ago.

According to OddsShark, the Raiders will be getting 6.5 points on a neutral site versus the Patriots. The associated moneylines for this game are New England -280 and Oakland +270. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 54.5 points.

Point Spread: Oakland +6.5
Moneylines: New England -280, Oakland +270
Over/Under: 54.5

Given that the Patriots are three games better than the Raiders in the AFC standings, it’s only natural that they would be the significant favorite in a neutral-site game. It is interesting that the line has dropped a point over the weekend. Oakland was getting as many as 7.5 points heading into Sunday afternoon’s game.

With their season on the line, it might be an advantageous play to take the Raiders getting points. If that’s the case, then probably side with the over. Oakland will have to win a shootout to even have a shot at winning at all in Estadio Azteca versus the Patriots.
