Betting Odds

This game could be very interesting, as well as very ugly. Neither team is playing very well and both have fired a coordinator since last week’s games. Denver moved on from offensive coordinator Mike McCoy on Monday in favor of Bill Musgrave. Oakland canned defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. in favor of John Pagano on Tuesday afternoon.

According to OddsShark, the Raiders will be laying four points at home to the visiting Broncos. The associated moneylines for this game are Oakland -200 and Denver +195. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 41 points.

Point Spread: Oakland -4
Moneylines: Oakland -200, Denver +195
Over/Under: 41

Oakland should be favored in this one for several reasons. It is at home for the Raiders, the Raiders have a better record over the Broncos, it is a revenge game for the Raiders and Derek Carr is a superior starting quarterback over Paxton Lynch at this stage of their respective careers.

That being said, this line has dropped a point since it opened at Raiders -5. This probably has to do with the inner turmoil surrounding the Raiders. Changing defensive coordinators might be the right move long-term, but we’re not sure how that manifest in Week 12 versus Musgrave’s Broncos offense. He too wants revenge for the Raiders firing him last year.
