Injury Report

According to Friday’s injury report, the Raiders had eight players listed, four questionable and cornerback David Amerson out with a foot injury. The four players that were listed as questionable were wide receiver Johnny Holton (concussion), right guard Gabe Jackson (ankle), linebacker Cory James (knee) and wide receiver/return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson (hip).

Patterson is expected to play, per Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Coming off the injury report was right tackle Marshall Newhouse, who had been dealing with hip and quad injuries. Pass rushers Bruce Irvin and Khalil Mack did not practice on Wednesday. They were reportedly given permission to miss practice after the firing of former defensive coordinator Ken Norton Jr. on Tuesday.

Denver had six players listed on Friday’s injury report. Five players were questionable and cornerback Aqib Talib came off it after missing Wednesday’s practice with a shoulder injury. Questionable for the Broncos on Sunday are defensive end Adam Gotsis (ankle), tight end Jeff Heuerman (knee), outside linebacker Shane Ray (wrist/ankle), wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders (shoulder) and defensive tackle Domata Peko Sr. (non-injury related).

Oakland might be healthier that it has been in weeks. Denver looks at tad banged up on the defensive side of the ball. With the way that Denver is playing of late, this could be a game where the Raiders get back in the win column.
