Weather Forecast

According to Weather.com, it will be 57 degrees Fahrenheit at the time of kickoff at Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum. It should stay around that temperature for the entire ball game. While there is no chance of rain, we’re looking at about 50 percent humidity in this one.

There will be an eight to nine mile per hour north by northwest wind going through the contest. In short, the Raiders have close to perfect conditions to play some football on Sunday. High 50s, no rain and a little bit of wind in December. Can’t ask for much more than that.

Frankly as fans, we should be satisfied that weather will not be much of a factor in this game. The last thing this game needed was it to be cold and rainy. Oakland will be without its two best starting wide receivers and New York just made a change at the quarterback position.

Since both teams play in windy stadiums, the constant north by northwest breeze couldn’t be a big deal. Oakland is in prime position to get back to .500 at 6-6 with a win over New York on Sunday. Bad weather would have been something New York could have used as an advantage to pull off the upset. Here’s to a great day of Raiders football!
