Injury Report

According to Friday’s injury report, the Raiders had eight players listed. One guy will be out, four are questionable and three inclusions on the report were non-injury related. Wide receiver Amari Cooper will be out with a concussion and ankle injury.

The four Raiders that are questionable are cornerback David Amerson (foot), right guard Gabe Jackson (ankle), linebacker Cory James (knee) and wide receiver/return specialist Cordarrelle Patterson (hip). Amerson hasn’t played in over a month, but could return to action on Sunday. Jackson, James and Patterson all played last week.

As for the Giants, they had five players listed. One guy is out, another is doubtful, a third is questionable and two guys inclusion on the report were non-injury related. Linebacker Jonathan Casillas will be out with a neck and wrist injury. Offensive lineman Justin Pugh is doubtful with a back. Nose tackle Damon Harrison is questionable with an elbow.

Overall, the Raiders are more banged up than the Giants. This makes sense since the Giants last played 10 days ago on Thanksgiving night versus the Washington Redskins. They have had a few more days to get healthy, whereas the Raiders played on Sunday afternoon at home versus the Denver Broncos.
