Betting Odds

The line for this game has been an interesting one. While the Raiders have certainly played better football in the last several weeks when compared to the reeling Chiefs, Kansas City has been the home favorite throughout the week.

According to OddsShark, the Raiders will be getting four points on the road from the hometown Chiefs. The associated moneylines for this game are Kansas City -180 and Oakland +176. This game’s over/under comes in at a combined 48 points.

Point Spread: Oakland +4
Moneylines: Kansas City -180, Oakland +176
Over/Under: 48

This line has held steady even with Chiefs cornerback Marcus Peters being suspended by the team. A lot of this has to do with how difficult of a road environment Arrowhead Stadium is four opponents. Then again, Las Vegas would have the Raiders as a one-point underdog if played on a neutral site.

The point total is a little higher than expected. Clearly, Las Vegas doesn’t like either of these teams’ defenses. We should be getting a close, high-scoring ball game at Arrowhead this afternoon. Look for this one to be decided by a touchdown or less.
