Play with passion in front of the home crowd in primetime. There are no excuses.

Sunday night is the last regular season home game for the Raiders. They will play the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field on Christmas night in Week 16. Oakland’s regular season finale will be at the StubHub Center in Carson versus the Chargers.

Even if the Raiders do find a way to make the playoffs, they will almost certainly be doing it as a wild card team. Losing to the Chiefs didn’t help this team’s chances to win the AFC West. Simply put, this is a home game for the Raiders and there is no reason for the team to not be fired up for this one.

Playing in primetime against the Cowboys at home in a game with potential playoff implications. What more could you ask out of a setting for a game? Dallas is a solid team, but the Raiders are certainly capable of pulling off the home upset. Playing in front of the home crowd matters. This is when the passion needs to come out.

Four times this season have the Raiders been beaten before opening kickoff. Interestingly, all four of those games happened away from the Coliseum. This team clearly feeds off the home crowd. If the Raiders can’t get amped for this one, then we’ve got some serious problems on our hands with this football team.
