Weather Forecast

Will weather be a factor in this primetime ball game? While there is no snow in the forecast, it will surely be a cold night in the City of Brotherly Love for this football game to be played in. According to Weather.com, it will be 31 degrees Fahrenheit at kickoff. The temperature will drop to 29 degrees by the end of the game.

Though there is no chance of precipitation in this one, it will be a very windy night at Lincoln Financial Field. We’re looking at about a 10-degree wind chill the entire game. The Raiders and Eagles will feel like they are playing a game in the teens. Brr…

Humidity will be in the mid 30s to low 40th percentile. It will be a constant 13-mile per hour win coming from the west throughout the ball game. Though it may not be slippery in this game, the wind will be the biggest factor both teams will have to deal with.

Expect this to negatively impact deep balls and the special teams. It could force either team to go for it on fourth down late in the game rather than kick a long field goal. Both teams are surely to miss some kicks tonight in this frigid Christmas time ball game.
