Injury Report

According to Friday’s injury report, the Raiders had five players listed on it. One will be out. Another is doubtful and three are listed as questionable. Everybody else listed on the injury report eventually came off it.

Out for the Raiders is rookie defensive tackle Treyvon Hester with an ankle. Offensive lineman Vadal Alexander is doubtful, as he is still in concussion protocol after a hit to the head he sustained on Monday Night Football last week.

The three Raiders that are listed as questionable are cornerback David Amerson, cornerback Dexter McDonald and offensive tackle David Sharpe. Amerson hasn’t played in two months with that foot of his. McDonald is dealing with an injured knee. Sharpe came down with an illness on Friday.

While the rest of the Raiders team looks to be in decent shape physically, the Silver and Black look to be depleted at offensive tackle and at quarterback. With the Chargers having an elite pass rush and excellent receivers, this could be most problematic for the Raiders’ chances of pulling off the upset in Carson on New Year’s Eve.
