Corey Graham. 4. player. 54. . FS. Philadelphia Eagles

If the Raiders want to poach a player from a Super Bowl team to help their secondary, they may want to do a short-term deal to land free safety Corey Graham from the Philadelphia Eagles. Though he hasn’t started for Philadelphia for most of the season, he has been a productive player when he has been out on the field for them.

Graham will be entering his 12th NFL season, but will only be 33 during the 2018 NFL season. If he were to join the Raiders, that would be the fourth organization he has played for in his lengthy NFL career. Graham had his most success with the Chicago Bears, where he was a Pro Bowler back in 2011.

One thing that does really help his cause in joining the Raiders is that he is always available. Graham has played in 171 games in his 12-year NFL career. He could be a pro’s pro and help mentor the many young players in the Raiders secondary.

Admittedly, Graham’s best isn’t better than Nelson’s best, but the Raiders might be getting a more consistent player in Graham than whatever they got out of Nelson a year ago. Oakland might have to pay a little more because Graham is playing in Super Bowl LII, but could be a service-level replacement for Nelson in 2018 should he leave.
