The 2018 NFL Draft is less than two months away, and the world has gone mad figuring out who the Oakland Raiders will take in the first round. On Friday, the Raiders and San Francisco 49ers will have a coin flip to decide who picks No. 9 overall.
The loser of the coin toss will pick at No. 10, so it is pretty important flip of the coin.
There are plenty of holes to fill on the defensive side of the ball for the Raiders, and they could really stand to improve all levels of the defense. New defensive coordinator Paul Guenther is going to give this defense a new feel, and guys like Khalil Mack and NaVorro Bowman (if he comes back) will definitely benefit from his schemes.
If the Raiders are to rebound off of a tough 2017 season, they have to get better on defense. Head coach Jon Gruden and offensive coordinator Greg Olson should get the offense pointed in the right direction, but Guenther has a tough task at hand.
