With the 2018 NFL Draft slated to take place at the end of April, we take a look at five potential players the Raiders could draft with their first round pick.

There are 47 days until the NFL draft, and Oakland Raiders currently have the tenth overall in the first round this year.

The team has a lot of holes to fill after coming off a disappointing 2017 campaign. Both sides of the ball struggled to really get anything going consistently, and there could be some significant changes in the coming weeks.

However, I think Oakland will have to focus more on the defensive side of the ball in the first round. The Raiders ranked 29th last season in defensive DVOA (defensive-adjusted value over average) which in English just means awful.

Quarterback is going to be the talk of the draft with four potential top 10 picks. That will lead to the Raiders getting a chance to pick from multiple defensive players who are likely high on their draft board.

Free agency starts Wednesday so draft needs may change if the Raiders are able to bring in some veterans. Until then, here are some prospects I think the Raiders should target with there first round pick.
