With only a week or so left before the 2018 NFL Draft, let us take another look at a 7-round mock draft for the Oakland Raiders.

We are less than a week away from the 2018 NFL Draft, and the Oakland Raiders are in for a busy couple of days. With 11 picks, the Raiders have the second-most of any team in the NFL, and they need to fill a bunch of holes on this roster.

The defense has needs on all three levels, and mocks around the nation have the team taking guys like linebacker Roquan Smith, defensive tackle Vita Vea, or a defensive back for the most part. We have been teetering on who the team may pick, but sources say Smith has emerged as the favorite.

Nobody really knows what is going to happen until draft night, and there is always that chance the team moves down and trades with a team in a more desperate need for a quarterback. With Derek Carr locked in place, the Raiders have a decided advantage with a top-10 pick this Thursday.

Oakland needs to capitalize on this draft, as even head coach Jon Gruden feels they have not gotten enough out of the last few drafts. They hit a home run back in 2014, putting together one of the better draft hauls in history, and hopefully they can do the same in 2018.
