The 2018 Oakland Raiders roster has a bunch of stars on it, and here are the five who should challenge for team MVP this season.

The Oakland Raiders stumbled through a very disappointing season in 2017, as they saw their win total cut in half from the year before. Because of that, the 2018 Raiders will look completely different in most areas, including head coach, where Jon Gruden will begin his second go-around with the team.

Throughout this offseason, Gruden and company have done a nice job revamping this roster, and it appears these players are really bonding early on. Gruden is one of the best motivators in the NFL, and he was a big reason why so many free agents decided to come to Oakland this offseason.

The main players are still in place, including defensive end Khalil Mack, quarterback Derek Carr, and wide receiver Amari Cooper. However, most of the defense has been completely overhauled, and wide receiver Michael Crabtree now calls Baltimore home.

You cannot do much worse that 2017, when the team came into the season with Super Bowl expectations, and ended up earning a top-10 draft pick. New coordinators should fix a lot of the issues from last season, especially on offense, where the unit took a major step back.

Here are five players who could take home the title of team MVP during the 2018 season.
