Jon Gruden and staff have an idea of players so far this offseason, but there are 5 players who need a strong training camp to improve their stock.

The 2018 regular season for the Oakland Raiders should be an interesting one, as the offseason activities continues to move forward in rapid fashion. Training camp is already just a month away and the competition is just about to heat up. With so many acquisitions this offseason it’s hard to fully evaluate every single player.

Training camp will be the next opportunity for the players to show off their skills followed by preseason. The competition has brought out the fire in everyone. That fire will need to continue for five players who need a strong training camp.

In this piece, we take a look at five players of the current 90-man roster, as they will need a strong training camp in order to make the final 53 heading into Week 1 of the NFL season. Some of these players have been with the team quite a bit, while some are just starting their careers in the Silver and Black.

With so many new faces this season, new head coach Jon Gruden is going to give every player a chance to make the final 53-man roster. He brought in a bunch of players to challenge some holdovers for spots on the roster, and we have already seen names move up and down the depth chart through OTAs and mandatory minicamp.
