The Oakland Raiders really shook up their roster this offseason, and some of their free agent signings will be expected to make huge contributions in 2018.

It has been a very interesting offseason for the Oakland Raiders, who have not only brought in a new coaching staff, but also a bunch of new players. Whether by trade, draft, or free agency, the Silver and Black have a new look to them this season, and some will be expected to make huge impacts in 2018.

Head coach Jon Gruden did a nice job bringing in players who fit his mold, and the early returns have been mostly positive. Organized team activities and mandatory minicamp had a very strong vibe, and it looks like he is the right man in charge for righting the ship in Oakland.

In 2016, the Raiders won 12 games, and many expected them  to challenge to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl last season. That did not happen, but there is still loads of talent on this roster, and with lower expectations in 2018, this team could really surprise some people.

In this piece, we look at the top-5 free agents the team has signed so far this offseason, as we are only a couple of weeks away from training camp. The Raiders stumbled through a six-win season in 2017, and hopefully, the new blood will help get them back to the top of the AFC West.
