It has been a very interesting offseason for the Oakland Raiders, who have not only brought in a new coaching staff, but also a bunch of new players. Whether by trade, draft, or free agency, the Silver and Black have a new look to them this season, and some will be expected to make huge impacts in 2018.
Head coach Jon Gruden did a nice job bringing in players who fit his mold, and the early returns have been mostly positive. Organized team activities and mandatory minicamp had a very strong vibe, and it looks like he is the right man in charge for righting the ship in Oakland.
In 2016, the Raiders won 12 games, and many expected them to challenge to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl last season. That did not happen, but there is still loads of talent on this roster, and with lower expectations in 2018, this team could really surprise some people.
