Lynch and Martin

Last year, the Raiders brought Marshawn Lynch out of retirement, signing the veteran running back to a two-year deal. While Lynch was misused early in the season, he really came on late, and comes into the 2018 campaign as the clear No. 1 running back on this team.

In addition to Lynch, the Raiders will have another veteran running back on the roster this season, as they brought in Doug Martin this offseason. While Martin fluttered out in Tampa Bay, he has looked really good since putting on the Silver and Black, and is actually pushing Lynch for that starting job.

Head coach Jon Gruden likes to run the ball between the tackles, and Lynch and Martin are certainly adept at doing just that. Having both of them on the roster will be quite the luxury, and with both men looking to be in great shape, the Raiders will have a solid two-headed monster at the position.

Martin is a bit of a wild card, as he has shown flashes of brilliance during his career, but has been frustrating at times as well. He and Lynch seem to be getting along fine so far with the Raiders, and if they both play to potential, this is going to be a dominant pass rush.
