Wide Receiver (6): Amari Cooper, Jordy Nelson, Martavis Bryant, Ryan Switzer, Seth Roberts, Marcell Ateman

The wide receiver group is going to look a lot different this season, but the man at the front of the unit remains the same. Amari Cooper will be looking to bounce back from a mediocre season in 2017, and he has some solid weapons behind him to help him out in that capacity.

Michael Crabtree was released by Gruden and his staff, clearing the way for them to bring in Jordy Nelson via free agency. With Nelson in tow, the Raiders traded for a legitimate third wideout during the 2018 NFL Draft, bringing in Martavis Bryant in exchange for a third round draft pick from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Those three give quarterback Derek Carr his best trio at the position in his career, and they should all see a ton of playing time. Behind them is a bit cloudy, as guys like Ryan Switzer, Seth Roberts, Marcell Ateman, and Johnny Holton to name a few, will look to round out the position group.

Roberts was paid good money this offseason, and if he does well this summer, he is a lock to make the team. Ateman was the team’s seventh round draft pick last April, but he can do incredible things in the red zone, and I like him to sneak in and take the final wide receiver spot on the 53-man roster.
