The Oakland Raiders host the Detroit Lions in their preseason opener tomorrow night inside the Oakland Coliseum, and here are five things to watch for.

The time has arrived, as the Oakland Raiders kick off their 2018 preseason schedule at home tomorrow night against the Detroit Lions. These two teams have been battling it out on the practice field over the past two days, and now it is  time to turn on the lights at the Oakland Coliseum and get down to business.

There are only four weeks left until the regular season kicks off, and the Raiders will be tasked with cutting this roster from 90 guys, to 53 by the time they play the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. The first preseason game has a lot excitement attached to it, as we will get to see the newest members put on the Silver and Black for the first time.

With a new head coach stalking the sidelines in Jon Gruden, it will be interesting to see how much playing time he gives to the starters tonight. In this piece, we take a look at five things to look for against the Lions, as the Raiders start the process of getting this roster in line before the regular season kicks off.
