The Oakland Raiders are enjoying a successful training camp in Napa, and we look at five pleasant surprises from camp this summer.

With one game already in the books this summer, the Oakland Raiders have a lot to be happy about with their current roster. Fresh off a 16-10 win against the Detroit Lions in preseason game No. 1, the Raiders still have a lot of work to do, but there have been so many bright spots in camp already.

The cloud of mystery surrounding when Khalil Mack will return to his team has been a big story, but the players are working through it. Bruce Irvin has taken a leadership role on the defensive line, and after moving to defensive end full-time this summer, he has to be chomping at the bit to get Mack back.

All in all, the Raiders seem to have closed a bunch of the holes that plagued them last season, when the team finished with only six wins. They seem to have gotten their swagger back, and there is nothing more dangerous than a Raiders team that has a ton of confidence going into every week.

With preseason game No. 2 on the horizon, let us look at five pleasant surprises from the 2018 training camp.
