The Oakland Raiders will take on the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday afternoon, and here are three players to keep an eye on in preseason game No. 2.

Preseason doesn’t matter in terms of wins and losses. It does matter to the coaches and players for the Oakland Raiders, especially those guys fighting for a job and the rookies. Without preseason, we’d all be criticizing how horrible the product on the field is during the regular season.

This is where teams work out the kinks. You could even say it is a stress test, especially for the rookies.

These games will let the coaches know where their rookies are at, so they’ll definitely be keying on them the most in film sessions. The starters are our attention grabbers during the regular season, but the preseason is for us to watch the rookies and fighting for a spot players.

I’ll also add that it helps players who have lost time due to injury get acclimated to the full speed of a live game. The Raiders will hook up again with the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1, so do not expect the entire playbook to be on display Saturday afternoon.

With that said, I give you my three players to watch for this Saturday against the Los Angeles Rams.
