Gareon Conley

Finally! Gareon Conley is actually not on the injury report and will be active for the game this Saturday. This one doesn’t need much explanation because we’re all curious to see Conley in live action. I cannot overstate how crucial he needs the reps in this game.

It’ll be a test for him to see not only how he fairs with his game play, but how healthy and durable he is. Well, maybe not a test, more so like a quiz since it is just one game. But a quiz that he must get a passing score on.

You just wonder if the Raiders will take the training wheels off of Conley and let him play for a considerable amount of time. Conley lost a lot of good looks from the joint practice and game last week, so it would be ideal for him to get as much as he can against the Rams to make up for it.

I know it’s just preseason, but a solid outing from him would start to turn the volume down on his critics. He’s taken a lot of slack for being a fragile player, but all it takes is some impressive performances to get everyone back on the hype train.

No game planning will be in effect as usual. Conley will solely be relying on his talent to best his opposition, which makes it even more intriguing to key in on.I’ll be watching Conley the most out of any player on the team. My dream matchup is seeing him get some shots at receiver Brandin Cooks who is their best receiver. That’ll definitely knock the rust off Conley and have him elevate his play to lock down Cooks.
