Arden Key

Arguably one of the most raved about players since training camp kicked off. Arden Key was robbed of his NFL debut last week against the Lions due to an ankle sprain he sustained during practice that week. We all lost out on witnessing superior talent, but the other rookie PJ  Hall and Maurice Hurst definitely didn’t disappoint.

Now imagine them and Bruce Irvin with another defensive stud to back them up. If we thought the front four of the Raiders was great against the Lions, then we’re in for a real treat this Saturday. Key is in the same boat as Conley. Will the training wheels be kicked off in order for him to make up his lost reps?

I truly hope so. Arden Key has been my star of the Raiders draft since OTAs. I’m expecting a big year from this guy. Like his last name, I believe he is the key to unlocking the Raiders pass rush. Khalil Mack will finally have a squad behind him that’ll keep offensive linemen up at night.

PJ Hall had the standout performance on the defensive line last week.

This week it’ll be Key, who will also record a sack just like Hall. It’s definitely an intriguing match up. I know all of Raider nation can’t wait to see him perform on Sundays. Saturday will be just a nice teaser for what’s in store for the season.
