Quarterback (2): Derek Carr, Connor Cook

Derek Carr and the rest of the offense did not play on Saturday, but they should be on the field for the first half against the Packers on Friday night. While he is the starter, who will back him up is still a little cloudy, although Connor Cook has gotten the run with the second team during the preseason games to start.

EJ Manuel tossed a touchdown pass against the Rams, but like Cook, he struggled to take care of the football. In fact, the backups played so poorly that you have to think the Raiders may bring in another arm to challenge this summer, although it is still only Manuel and Cook battling it out to backup Carr at this point.

Both backups looked pretty bad on Saturday, so this battle will rage on for the next couple of weeks. I do not expect Gruden to bring three quarterbacks into the regular season, and he has favored Cook this summer, so he has the nod heading into preseason game No. 3.
