Linebacker (7): Tahir Whitehead, Derrick Johnson, Marquel Lee, Nicholas Morrow, Emmanuel Lamur, Kyle Wilber, James Cowser

The linebacker group has looked good for the Raiders this summer, as has the rest of the defense to be honest. While expected to be a backup in 2018, Marquel Lee has put all of that noise to rest, playing better than anyone else in the position group, as he looks to cement his role as starting middle linebacker.

Tahir Whitehead was a major upgrade on the outside, and Derrick Johnson should provide veteran leadership if healthy. Nicholas Morrow was flying all over the place against the Rams, and James Cowser had a nice interception, as well as playing very effective football from his linebacker position.

Emmanuel Lamur and Kyle Wilber should also make the 53-man roster, though Wilber is a guy who could be on the bubble heading into Friday night. All in all, the Raiders have to be happy with how they upgraded this position group this offseason, and they certainly have the right DC pushing the buttons this season.
