Antonio Hamilton

Another undrafted player and another guy who has had a tough road to this point in his career.  In his previous two seasons with the Raiders, Antonio Hamilton has been active in only 12 games.

It appears that a change in coaching staff has been great for guys like Hamilton and Calhoun.  Like Calhoun, Hamilton looks like a new man.  He has been very good in coverage and in run support during the preseason.

The recent signing of Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie shows that the Raiders are desperate for help in the secondary.  After Gareon Conley and Rashaan Melvin there really is not a sure thing at the cornerback position.  Rookie Nick Nelson has looked promising but if Hamilton continues his strong play he will make the team.
