Chris Warren III

This game is pivotal for the undrafted rookie running back. Another exclamatory performance like in games prior can potentially seal his fate on the team. The only question is can he keep up his momentum from the prior two games?

Initially, I thought there was no way Jon Gruden would keep four running backs on board, but it’s looking to be the case with Warren and Richard. They both have gained the love and attention from Gruden, whereas DeAndre Washington is on the outside looking in.

Personally, Washington is all but gone to me. He’s just missed too much time to warrant a roster spot. Warren can send Washington packing with another strong performance today. After this game, we’ll have gained a lot more clarity on the team’s depth chart.

There’s a lot of questions around Chris Warren III and the other running backs which makes it even more enticing to key in on him for today’s game.
